qrtools is a toolbox for creating and decoding QR Codes from python. It uses the qrencode executable for encoding and zbar for decoding files and scan with webcam. It can encode and decode international text (non-ascii).

Intro
====
QtQR is a QR Code Generator and decoder made in Python and Qt. This first release is the 1.0 version, it supports:
* Encoding text, url, emails, sms and telephone numbers
* Decoding an image file with a QR Code inside; the programs informs the data type and prompts for a default action asociated to the data type.
* Decoding a QR Code from your webcam using zbar.

New Features

- Added Internationalization Support, i.e. translations. "es_AR" and "es" translation available.

- GUI redesign:
  + new Faenza styled icon.
  + No more tabs. Now you have to select the data type with a combobox.
  + bigger text boxes for large texts.
  + now the code is displayed at the right side of the window.
  + "About QtQR" dialog with application info (F1).
  + Exit button is gone.
  + Webcam selection dialog if you happen to have more than one with instructions.
  + QtQR now uses system notifications for non-interactive information (like confirming saved files).

- Added support for Drag&Drop:
  + Drop a picture file (or more) to the application window and QtQR will decode them.
