DO NOT USE 0.4!

Written for relinux by Anonymous Meerkat on 2014-01-19

I've been meaning to make this announcement for some time now, but I keep on forgetting >.<

Anyways, don't use 0.4! I didn't test it well enough when I had originally coded it (neither did I code it very well, for that matter =P), and the farthest anyone has been able to go with it is to make the installed medium boot.

Use 0.3a3 instead, it should work fine =)

Codebase is no longer hosted here

Written for relinux by Anonymous Meerkat on 2012-08-10

As relinux is designed to work for all linux distros by 0.5, the codebase for 0.4 will be hosted on github: https://github.com/MiJyn/relinux/tree/

News about relinux 0.3, 0.4 and about why I switched launchpad

Written for relinux by Anonymous Meerkat on 2011-11-03

I have just released relinux 0.3.0a1, adding many new features (many new configuration options, and a WUBI customization kit) and bug fixes. I will not support the 0.3 branch much (only bug fixes), because I'm currently working on relinux 0.4, which will be changed completely.
relinux 0.4 will be completely rewritten in C++, so if you have any feature requests, please put it in the Blueprints section (with the 0.4 milestone). The reason for this is mainly because of the speed and power (I'm estimating twice as fast as before).
It will also have a nice and simple Qt GUI. The main reason of using Qt instead of GTK is the portability of environments (GTK apps look horrible in KDE).

Now for the launchpad part. I had many problems with sourceforge, and I figured that if I wanted this to be in a PPA, the simplest solution would be launchpad (I don't need the extra features of sourceforge anyways).
The switch to launchpad shouldn't affect you too much. The tickets are in Bugs and Blueprints, the forum is in Answers, and the blog is in announcements.
