First REVU Day

Written for REVU by Siegfried Gevatter on 2008-11-06

Contributor, reviewers, and everyone. I'm pleased to announce that the first REVU Day started something like 10 hours ago, and will still run for over 30 hours more. Remember, they don't only last for twenty-four hours, but for all the time while which it's Friday anywhere on the world.

Anyway, what does this mean to you? That you should join #ubuntu-motu right now and start reviewing, if you are a reviewer, or asking for reviews, if you are a contributor. If you fit into this last group, also note that I've written a document with some tips on how to get your package reviewed; you'll find it here: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MOTU/Packages/REVU/CheckList

Last but not least, there's going to be a REVU Q&A session as part of the Ubuntu Open Week, this Friday (same as the REVU Day) at 17:00 (GMT+0). So, if you have any question, please attend on #ubuntu-classroom (IRC Server: irc.freenode.net).
