Taverna Server 2.5 includes many features beyond those in 2.4, notably including support for Taverna Components, Taverna Interaction Services, and (from 2.5.2) the production of provenance about workflow runs.

3.0.x series Future

The 3.0 series of Taverna Server will use the Taverna 3 Execution Core and have a focus on providing much more fine-grained access to the state of executing workflows.

2.4.x series Supported

The 2.4 series of Taverna Server is the first production-grade releases. This is supported for older clients, but no significant new behaviour is expected to be added. (Releases 2.4.2 and 2.4.3 were internal only.)
