The designer (Giorgio venturi) informed me that if you want to set single type alarms on a specific day in the week, you will need to use the calendar app for that. Alarms in the clock app will be recurring if you want to choose the days of the week. The only time you can set a single type alarm is to set an alarm in the next few minutes/hours of the same day.
