Note that if you run this test with the ubuntu_kenrel_selftests suite, the error output will be just:

 selftests: run_netsocktests
 ========================================
 --------------------
 running socket test
 --------------------
 [FAIL]
 not ok 1..6 selftests: run_netsocktests [FAIL]
