Comment 112 for bug 120434

I have a 05ca:18b5 Ricoh Co., Ltd webcam, on a Sony Vaio laptop, and used to need to install the package to make it work.
Under Natty, things seems to work out of the box.
So, is this tool slowly becoming obsolete, or am I missing something ?
