Comment 8 for bug 195490

Have same issue, but my OS is Ubuntu 7.10 x86

my configuration:
ga-p35-ds3r
asus 8600gts
core 2 duo 8200

Sometimes in 2-4 days my computer crashes, monitor turns off, but keyboard and mouse continue to "shine" but don't react on any actions. Right after crash computer checks cdroms like during post.

I cannot find any problems in logs.
