Comment 3 for bug 198083

I got the bug above described too. after installing ubuntu from the below mentioned cd i followed the steps suggested by the system.

1. gutsy, i suppose (ubuntu 7.10, 32bit from the c't magazin linux special cd)
2. i clicked on the 'updates available' symbol in the panel and followed the instructions.
3. unfortunately i already closed the window with the full output...

maybe (hopefully) that's enough additional information?
