Confirmed for my creative labs xmod, with the onboard snd-hda-intel blacklisted.

$ cat /proc/asound/cards
 0 [Xmod ]: USB-Audio - Creative Xmod
                      Creative Technology Ltd Creative Xmod at usb-0000:00:1d.1-1, full speed

$ lsusb
