I confirmed this is no longer a problem in Edgy. However, I installed (actually re-installed) the libxine-extracodecs package on my Dapper box, and I'm now getting this slightly different error:

  Error Loading Media
  There is no audio channel!

Brandon, were you testing Dapper or Edgy?
