forgot to mention, at start the updater wanted to upgrade libc6-i386 2-6-1-1ubuntu4 (to 5) that also ended up in a segmentation fault, did a reinstall of that packet only (version4) , since then the updater hopped to the next packet dpkg also with a segmentation fault.
