I can't reproduce this.

$ apt-cache depends beagle | grep glib
  Depends: libglib2.0-0
  Depends: libglib2.0-cil

I've made sure to remove libglib2.0-dev to be sure the code is attempting to load an unversioned .so symlink from the -dev package.
