No, the attachment is somehow getting attached.

Also I meant, if you run
$ beagled
(i.e. enable all backends)
do you still get the memory spike ?
and the same question for
$ beagled --backend Files --backend EvolutionMail --backend EvolutionDataServer --backend Liferea --backend Tomboy
