I just ran a 'updatedb' and tried to locate it. You're right - it's not there:

$ locate cubereflex
/home/will/.gconf/apps/compiz/plugins/cubereflex
/home/will/.gconf/apps/compiz/plugins/cubereflex/allscreens
/home/will/.gconf/apps/compiz/plugins/cubereflex/allscreens/options

The same applies for scaleaddon and several others.
