This same problem happened to me when I tried to burn Feisty Beta .iso from nautilus-cd-burner (the "Write to disk" option from the context menu over the .iso file). Then I tried to disable "Windows Wobble when Moved" and "Workspaces on a Cube" but didn't help either. Nautilus CD burner window appeared only after disabling Desktop Effects. BTW, I'm also running latest Feisty updates as of today.

FWIW, I cannot confirm the Firefox behaviour described by Profusion.
