Just did a fresh install of Edgy Eft and found to my delight that the mounting of encrypted volumes now works without any patching. It stops and asks repeatedly for a passphrase. There is only a small problem, LVM tries to mount before the encrypted volumes. If I enter the passphrase, continue the boot, login and manually start LVM then it works fine. Guess it's only a matter of changing the order in which services get started. Not sure how I should do it correctly myself but maybe someone knowledgeable can do it, or show me how it's done.
