This seems to be a problem with cupsys actually starting, which I don't believe is related to the apparmor problem.

please run
sudo tail -f /var/log/messages
and then run
sudo /etc/init.d/cupsys restart
And post any errors in the /var/log/messages.
It definitely seems there is a problem with cupsys. As well try running;
sudo apt-get clean sudo apt-get remove cupsys sudo apt-get install cupsys
