Comment 1 for bug 144389

If possible, I'd like to request an upstream new version exception for this package. The motivation:
* The current version is the same as feisty, despite considerable upstream progress.
* 0.7.0 saw the release of 3d emulation, fixing a large number of bugs in the emulator
* Many speed improvements have been made
* GDB stub code has been added
* Optional openGL output can offload scaling to the video card.
* Translation support now exists

From a support perspective:
* The diff is huge =(
* Upstream has an active bug tracker
* The same package has progressed into Debian testing, with 0 open bugs.
