I also noticed that, using dhclient 3.0.1-1ubuntu1 and didn't know why the
machine names do not appear in the
dhcp (debian sarge) box cache. I enabled it on the dhclient config file and it
works now. Why not just adding the
line which tells it to send the default hostname?
