Comment 9 for bug 401402

You can install eclipse with
 sudo apt-get-install eclipse --no-install-recommends

The problem is in the recommended package eclipse-gcj, which depends on libswt3.2-gtk-gcj, which in turn depends on gij-4.2, which is not available.
