Of course. Altough I wrote that few comments before. Here is more detailed configuration:
VGA: nVidia Corporation NV43 [GeForce 6600] (rev a2)
Running on 64 bit Ubuntu Gutsy Tribe 5 + up to date updates.
Software versions: compiz-gnome 1:0.5.2+git20070918-0ubuntu5 libcompizconfig-backend-gconf 0.5.2+git20070918-0ubuntu1 compiz-plugins 1:0.5.2+git20070918-0ubuntu5 compiz-fusion-plugins-extra 0.5.2+git20070917-0ubuntu1 libcompizconfig0 0.5.2+git20070919-0ubuntu2 compiz-fusion-plugins-main 0.5.2+git20070917-0ubuntu3 compiz-core 1:0.5.2+git20070918-0ubuntu5 compiz 1:0.5.2+git20070918-0ubuntu5
xorg 1:7.2-5ubuntu10 xserver-xorg-core 2:1.3.0.0.dfsg-12ubuntu6
nvidia-kernel-common 20051028+1ubuntu7 nvidia-glx-new 100.14.19+2.6.22.4-12.3
I hope that helps. Normally I wouldn't bother but compiz has a really nice feature to make wine apps windows open in the right order which I really really like :-)
Right before freezing, I've noticed there was something added to system logs:
1st freeze (one line only): kern.log:Sep 26 09:53:32 asgard kernel: [40564.951565] NVRM: Xid (0002:00): 6, PE0000 08b8 ffd38e47 00003640 00000000 ffc8823a
2nd shortly after reboot (I don't know if first two lines are because of compiz since it froze at 10:30): kern.log:Sep 26 10:13:13 asgard kernel: [ 530.138908] NVRM: Xid (0002:00): 6, PE0000 1040 00efebe7 0000faa0 00ffffff 00ffffff kern.log:Sep 26 10:19:18 asgard kernel: [ 707.514717] NVRM: Xid (0002:00): 6, PE0000 06f0 00efebe7 0000f888 00efebe7 00efebe7 kern.log:Sep 26 10:30:03 asgard kernel: [ 1032.504851] NVRM: Xid (0002:00): 6, PE0000 0548 ff0000aa 00006424 00000000 ff00aaaa
