This is fixed with last epdfview upload:

 epdfview (0.1.5-0ubuntu2) edgy; urgency=low
 .
   * 10_clear_cache.patch:
      - Clear cache before opening a new file
      - Upstream svn revision 250, closes LP 54979
   * 20_desktop_file.patch
      - Menu item only shown in Office
      - Closes LP 50122
