The few good QAs who haven't submitted any patches at all know that it doesn't apply to them. I really *don't* care what the users think in this case, because there are too many of them, and they have too many different opinions. On bugs like this, not making it clear that I don't care what users think results in bugs with hundreds of comments and hundreds of cc'ed people, which makes it hard to get work done.
