Hew, I'm using Intrepid and Fretsonfire version 1.2.512.dfsg-3. My laptop is a Dell Inspiron 1500 (Core2Duo 1.73GHz, 2GB RAM, Intel 945GM graphics .. I don't think it lacks specs to play frets on fire). It is incredibly slow. The menu system is fine, I can move around at normal speed but once the game starts, it's impossible to play.
