If there are people who can do this and are willing to invest the time it
seems reasonable to go for it. If a few get left to -updates it's not the
end of the world.

Given the way the last one went and geser's announcements tha he's largely
absent for some time, I think it comes down to you. Do you think you can
do it or get close?
