well, due to vacation, I'd only be able to update (or patch) ghc6 after Monday next week.

So starting after that, I doubt that I can get anywhere close to complete a haskell transition for intrepid on my own. OTOH, the packaging changes are actually quite easy/straightforward tasks, so with some help from other MOTU's it might be doable... *shrug*.
