can you please start firefox from a console like:

export G_SLICE=always-malloc
firefox 2>&1 | tee /tmp/firefoxgnash-crash.log

and see if the problem goes away?

if it doesn't disappear please attach the log ... otherwise please confirm that this fixes the problem for you.
