Comment 14 for bug 91324

Yes, I tested it with gutsy and it is even more bad. The sound recorder shows an error and closes. Error is something related to 'multimedia settings' not being proper. And I don't know what I am supposed to do about it. I tried changing many things in Preferences->Sound and also in volume control but nothing helped. :-(

Any help is appreciated.
