Comment 6 for bug 363326

Hi there, i also have this lappie, i checked the screen brightness and the problem is even bigger...
 the first thing is - yes - the cde events are inivible by xev, but after i do: dmesg | tail i can see them:

[ 2690.098867] atkbd.c: Use 'setkeycodes 6a <keycode>' to make it known.
[ 2690.199515] atkbd.c: Unknown key released (translated set 2, code 0x6a on isa0060/serio0).

here, so there is no problem, we can set them by setkeycodes...

the bigger problem is that the brightness cannot be set by xbacklight or even gnome-power-manager.. but.. those keys / the backlight settings - are working in bios /grub, but no after ubuntu kernel is loaded...
