Using Ubuntu GNOME 14.10 and after upgrading to Gnome 3.14 same behaviour as Cyprian Guerra (#17) described occured. The mouse pointer is only not visible on menu, messages (etc.), but is indeed visible in all applications and on desktop. If i understand Lubuntu ISO testing bug correct, the mouse pointer is not visible at all.
