Even if I choose Belarus (Latin) keyboard in gdm and get the following contents of .dmrc:

[Desktop]
Language=en_US.utf8
Layout=by latin

I have USA layout added to my keyboard setup. Any known workaround for this behavior?

I use Ubuntu 10.10.
