Install gnome-software-dbgsym gnome-software-plugin-snap-dbgsym
libsnapd-glib1-dbgsym.

When this happens, attach to gnome-software with gdb and get a backtrace
of all threads please.

I think it's probably a combination of

and

both of which are fixed or to be fixed in snapd-glib.
