On further investigation, support for ripping MP3s has been removed from goobox. Playing MP3s off a filesystem on a CD isn't supported; in this sense, there's no possible way that goobox has any remaining features that have anything to do with MP3 files. If I'm wrong about this, please feel free to reopen the bug and provide a more thorough explanation.
