3 new gparted versions (0.2, 0.2.1 and 0.2.2) with important bugfixes were released, but Ubuntu Dapper is still on 0.1 :(

Please package latest version, because now Ubuntu gparted package has important ntfs resizing bugs, which couses problems when user tries to install Ubuntu with new espresso installer (which uses gparted) on system with Windows NTFS partition(s). Also version 0.2 is more safe when resizing NTFS partitions, because it run a resize-simulation before performing the actual resize. NTFS resising is really important for Ubuntu, because majority Desktop/Laptop systems has one big NTFS partition as default today.
Problems with NTFS resizing are already reported in GNOME and Ubuntu bug tracking systems, look for example GNOME bug #327685 or Ubuntu bug #24847
Because of this priority (severity) of this bug should be increased, I think.
I'm pasting changelog of latest Gparted versions (0.2.1 and 0.2.2, besides important bugfixes there are also very usefull feature for debugging/bugreporting - implemented export of operationdetails to external file):

Changes:
version 0.2.1 (2006-02-16)
 New Features:
 * added support for commandline arguments (e.g. gparted /dev/hda)
 * added submenu 'Devices' which allows one to select devices from the menu
 * implemented export of operationdetails to external file.
   This can be very usefull for debugging.
 * it's now possible to (re)activate swap from within gparted
 * The mountpoint(s) of mounted partitions are now visible in the treeview.

 Translations (new/updated):
 * bg, tr, fi, en_CA, gl, vi, nl, es

 Changes:
 * removed warning after applying changes to a busy device. I figured
   they were pretty obsolete and tended to confuse users.
 * use ntfsresize instead of ntfsfix to check an ntfs filesystem for errors.
 * improved check for correct version of libparted
 * removed the legend to preserve space.
 * due to cleanups the size of the binary decreased with 10% (yay! :P)

 Bugfixes:
 * we now deal correctly with mountpoints containing spaces
 * fixed a small error with permissions of logical partitions
 * the graphical partition display sometimes 'lost' 1 or 2 pixels. this is fixed.
 * finally fixed a small annoyance with 'cut-off' icons. (#169683)

version 0.2.2 (2006-02-23)
 New Features:
 * little more progressfeedback when creating or resizing a partition
 * more checking is done when resizing using libparted instead of plugins

 Translations (new/updated):
 * vi, es

 Changes:
 * unmount now unmounts all mountpoints a partitions has been mounted on.
 * added shortcut to popupmenu
