The last two messages I've received about this bug (the message above and the message that the bug is once again "unassigned") puzzle me. With the technical board agreeing that libpcre3 can be moved to /lib, what actually must happen now that the library _will_ be moved and this bug fixed? I continue to think that it is an embarrassment to the whole Ubuntu project that it hasn't been fixed and is called a "wishlist" item.
