I've attached a cropped screenshot of the popup that appears when resuming after having hibernated for a few hours. The popup says:
Hibernate Problem
HAL failed to hibernate . Check the help file for common problems.

It appears that the computer did hibernate and it is not clear which help should be checked if it didn't work...
