I'm very confused about the test case: which combination of dkms and kernel need to be installed?
The test plan says:
> This is supposed to work together with the updated dkms, which shall also be built along with the kernel itself as linux-modules-ipu6-<variant>. Install the corresponding kernel/modules packages and test camera functions.
These are the involved packages, as far as I can tell:
* linux-image-{virtual,generic}: kernel binary. 6.8.0-31.31 in noble, 6.8.0-32.32 in noble-proposed
* linux-modules-ipu6-generic: binary, 6.8.0-31.31 in noble, 6.8.0-32.32 in noble-proposed. This is the in-tree ipu6 module, right?
* intel-ipu6-dkms: 2023....0ubuntu2 in noble, 2024...0ubuntu1 in noble-proposed. What was accepted for this SRU.
If the SRU is about the dkms package, why does the test plan mention linux-modules-ipu6-<variant>? Could you please clarify what is to be tested together?
https:/ /bugs.launchpad .net/ubuntu/ +source/ ipu6-drivers/ +bug/2061747/ comments/ 12 changed the tags from "verification- failed" to "verification- done", but the previous state was "verification- needed" , and I will change it back to that.
