Until there is either a better menu or a better tab label, there is no point in regressing to an old label or diverging from upstream. It doesn't matter what the exact label is, users are still going to know or figure out (single learning experience, not long-term learning curve) what it is supposed to do. There are bigger problems with logging out/switching users/rebooting/whatever with the Kickoff menu than the tab label (confirming an action three times, for instance).

Kubuntu has no problem diverging from upstream when it improves the experience, but not when it isn't going to make a difference. I do have concerns that Leave may not be translated well, but translation usability is an issue in every application. I'm not a fan of having the session options available in Kickoff, nor do I care how the workflow is being handled. But until there is a better alternative...
