Using KDE4.3 beta2 handles are shown in vertical only, meaning I have to move to opposite side of the widgets just to get it resized, when you are moving mouse from below.

Finex, thanks for the testcases -- but unfortunately it only shows we are going in the circles. You cannot get intuitive (>20 years old) resizing UI if you are limited to resize handles (i.e. the direction of the resizing is determined by resize handle placement).
