I understand that widgets are not windows. But (as Dotan has a practical example, and yourself said it too) users don't.

(Btw my personal opinion about web content is that the biggest inconveniences of web content stem from that web pages cannot use traditional user interfaces and more complex pages, where the web page is not just a "document" but the "user interface of a program" have to mimic traditional UIs but they are always inferior.)
