Go watch users try to move their panels! I have asked at least five or six users to try it on KDE 4.2, and even though there is a button RIGHT THERE that says "Screen Edge" they try fruitlessly to drag the panel away. Of the users that I asked, only two were able to move the panel to a different screen edge, and one of them was after I gave him a hint to read all other options available to him. The ones that failed had failed even after I told them to read what options were available to them.

Apparently the KDE 4 way is "in order to move object A, pull on object B". Users just cannot understand that, even if there is a big button marked "pull on me". And why should they even want to, when every other application on the planet uses the idea "in order to move an object, just pull on it"?
