Comment 16 for bug 16502

The same here. I am running ubuntu 7.10 on a three-years-old p4 laptop,
very standard hardware except the hi-res 1600x1200 display.

Konqueror just does not play flash from youtube and the like.
Upon closing the konqueror window (or the tab with the flash content), I get an error popup, the contents of which you can see in the attatchment.

I can't remember for how long I have got the popup, but I do remember that flash in ubuntu's konqueror has always been an issue for me since ubuntu 6.10 (my first version).

I have the konqueror-nsplugins package as well as the flashplugin-nonfree installed. As that did not work, I have also installed the flashplugin from adobe's tarball and tweaked konqueror to really find it (I believe). Still the same problem.
