The latest flash plugin indeed doesn't work in Konqueror, Mike Arthur wrote about a workaround using KMPlayer here http://mikearthur.co.uk/?p=171 (still got to try it out) and the explanation why it doesn't work is jotted down by Lubos Lunak here http://www.kdedevelopers.org/node/3162
