Hey thanks Sarah! (again :) ) That (apt-cache policy) was a good hint. Apparently the version i had installed was newer than the one in the repository. Shouldn't have been there in the first place of course, but now I downgraded it, and everything is fine again.
This closes the bug for me... but more people might suffer from it, as this 4:3.5.6-0ubuntu1 0 version has been living in some repository somewhere at sometime (i didn't compile it). And not only for libkonq4. I checked the 'obsolete-status' in synaptic, and a lot of kde packages suffer from this. Maybe the whole kde 3.5.6 set should be upgraded to 4:3.5.6-0ubuntu2~edgy1 0 to clean up this mess?
