Comment 13 for bug 1947099

Hey guys, sorry for taking so long to comment. I agree with Eric here that we should get this patch upstreamed. Since we're only seeing this issue on bionic, I think it's safe to only backport it to bionic - but preferably after it's submitted upstream and some upstream people eyeballing it. It's always useful to get upstream's input on the changes we want to propose here + this will not be a dangling bionic-only change that way.
