Bug Description

Binary package hint: libapache2-mod-python2.4

In dapper 6.06 if I have the php5 module and mod_python enabled at the same time, mod_python incorrectly caclucates md5.

I have a few sites in php5, but wanted to start playing with django. The django site worked just fine with the built in django dev server, but as soon as I switched to apache2 I kept getting an error based on md5 calculations. Disabling php5 with sudo a2dismod php5 and restarting apache2 immediately brought my django project to life.

I don't know, I stopped playing with Django (mod_python) when I found this
bug and couldn't have my existing stuff up and running along side my
experiments.

In the django post, anteater_sa doesn't state which version of Ubuntu is
being used

I have exactly the same problem running ubuntu6.06 does anyone know a way to fix?

I haven't tried duplicating it, but as far as I'm concerned, the importance on this should be decided so we can get it fixed. To me, it seems extremely relevant because this bug would be affecting a large userbase. Those are likely to be some commonly used situations, especially with using Ubuntu as a web server with any kind of regularity... to me, web serving's success is mission critical.

 I tried to reproduce this bug but I couldn't. I am running Ubuntu Feisty with php5 version 5.2.3-1ubuntu6.3 and libapache2-mod-python version 3.3.1-2

The last person(Leon Harris) who seemed to have been able to reproduce it was using an older version of Ubuntu(ubuntu6.06).

* Is this reproducible?
* If so, what specific steps should we take to recreate this bug?
