  * patch missing ()s around qw() which is not allowes with perl 5.18
  * skip t/01parse.t unconditionally
  * stop ignoring test suite errors
  * All three of the above make the module somewhat usable again (with minimal
    syntax-checking test coverage). Closes: #741000
