Well maybe the kernel I posted. Kind of hard to say without anybody testing it. ;-) The problem is that Lucid and Maverick kernels for EC2 are very different approaches. Maverick already has enough Xen code in the mainline kernel that only the configuration is different to the normal kernel. Lucid required a substantial number of patches on top of the code that was upstream and the approach used there has the risk of getting a skew between changes to the generic kernel code and the xen code. In the test kernels, at least that skew should be fixed and maybe that was causing this issue.
