The AMD GPU is initialing and working fine now on my laptop. Thank you for the fix.
Greetings. This is my first post.
My laptop is Samsung Series 5 Ultra NP530UE4. Previous linux-firmware had the same error message related to AMD Radeon GPU.
I have applied the followings:
a. wget http:// archive. ubuntu. com/ubuntu/ pool/main/ l/linux- firmware/ linux-firmware_ 1.173.17_ all.deb 1.173.17_ all.deb
b. sudo dpkg -i linux-firmware_
c. systemctl reboot
